Greetings!

I'm running Windows 95 and want to update some features by using the SETUP program on the CD. When SETUP runs, it reports an error message like "Some of your control panel or device settings have changed since you last started Windows 95. Please restart and run setup again." However, I get this message even if I run SETUP right after restarting. Also, I disabled most everything I could that automatically loads, thinking that something was updating the SYSTEM or WIN.INI files, which Windows might find to be unacceptable. Does anyone have any ideas, short of reinstalling from scratch?
