Clinton did achieve a lot of political goals. He should be remembered as such politically. His personal sex adventures (monica certainly was not the only one) is of no political importance. I agree - the fact that he got his joint copped was, in itself, of little political importance.
(What he did was very wrong - adultery is very high on my list of no-nos....but politically it was pretty trivial).
The problem is that he lied, and instructed others to lie. He had the opportunity to put this to rest by simply telling the truth and perhaps preventing much of what eventually occured.
