There was a guy on the radio Saturday on the blues show who collects 'Christmas songs'. He has a collection of about 15,000, and he was playing blues Christmas songs that I'm sure very few people in the world have ever heard. He said if asked, he could do an hour or two just on various strange versions of Rudolph. So, why not bullets.
I reckon its the hunter-gatherer instinct gone a little haywire.
