>Clinton did achieve a lot of political goals. He should be remembered as such politically. His personal sex adventures (monica certainly was not the only one) is of no political importance.

>Walter,
I agree, but lying
under oath is of importance. It would get any other citizen prison time and they would no longer be in public office if they once were.
PERJURY - When a person, having taken an oath before a competent tribunal, officer, or person, in any case in which a law of the U.S. authorizes an oath to be administered, that he will testify, declare, depose, or certify truly, or that any written testimony, declaration, deposition, or certificate by him subscribed, is true, willfully and contrary to such oath states or subscribes any material matter which he does not believe to be true; or in any declaration, certificate, verification, or statement under penalty of perjury, willfully subscribes as true any material matter which he does not believe to be true; 18 USC
In most jurisdictions perjury is a felony. Clinton had to surrender his law license and his bar membership but he served no jail time.
I think Lil' Kim should use him as an example when she faces several years in prison:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7222867/Didn't Jeffrey Archer serve 4 years for perjury? Jonathan Aitken served 18 months. At least today no one has to worry about penal transportation to America for 7 years for it like Elizabeth Canning did! :o)
