Some say guns have been very destructive in our society. I think people fall into defending the things they value under the banner of personal freedom and indvidual accountability and they support the regulation of those things they do not value using the arguement that it cause harm to society. I would say people overestimate the harm of things they do not like and underestimate the harm of things they do like.
