If statistical values are provided by a governmental source I consider them facts. If they are interpretated in a certain way (you know that statistics can lie and will lie in an awfull lot of cases) then it becomes more doubtfull. If it is just an article that just throws just numbers arround I really become suspicious. When they also do not list the source, I don't even bother to believe.
