What I said was:

That in no way implies a reliance on personal responsibility to regulate gun use. Read carefully. What I am saying is that along with the right to own a firearm comes the responsibility for safe firearms use. Same with operating a car (an equally dangerous tool, if not more so). We offer driver training in high school, why not firearm safety? For that matter, why not basic skills like checkbook balancing?

All the liberals can come up with is gun restrictions. This punishes the whole for the sins of the few. It removes the concept of personal responsibility for firearm usage from the individual. This is wrong, in my view, as well as being unconstitutional.
