I am using an access database as a remote source during the development of an application using remote views. My problem is that access only allows Date/Time as a field type, and I want to return a cursor using a parameterized view based on a date. IOW, I want the program to select all records from the access database into a cursor base on a user entered date. If I enter a date, there is no match, for I am not entering the time portion. If I enter the date and the time portion, the cursor returns with values, but if I try just the date, I get nothing. I have tried using functions to convert the parameter, but I keep getting ODBC errors indicating that they are unsupported functions.
