AVG is a good free anti-virus utility. If you want an all-in-one tool to replace Norton Internet Security or McAfee Security Center I would take a look at Trend Micro's PC-cillin Internet Security 2005. Check out the review of it at CNET.com. I have been using it for about a year now and I like it much better than Norton and McAfee. It is far far less of a resource hog than Norton and McAfee. I can run a virus scan Trend Micro and still be running other applications with a huge slowdown.
