The US is doing markedly better in fighting pollution. We no longer have cities that boil pollution into the air like they used to. Pittsburg and most of the industrialized cities of the north and northeast are relatively clean. Our cars are running cleaner. It's a very unusual sight to see a car belching smoke these days. All-in-all we are doing much better and it will continue to get better. Having a bunch of scientist and politicians from third world countries dictate to the US is totally wrong and I thank God our presidents (Even slick Willie) haven't signed off on this joke.
