can you invoke a Report “Event” Programmatically? For example, Suppose you want to simulate the Save Option on the menu, can you use the new functionality to Programmatically Save the Report?

Can you Create a Toolbar with a Drop Down with Font names on it (Like Word) and when you select a Font, invoke the multi-select functionality “Event” and set the Font for all selected objects? Or a Bold Button? Etc.

What you are describing is not really possible. There's nothing in 9.0 that makes this any easier to implement than it was in 8.0!
