I have the free SQL - but no VS - I have been mostly Java Script and DHTML and ISAPI for the last year or so.
I was hoping that the finished rework would be something I could download - like a VFP setup - without prequisite installs.
You could use use a text file or access DB (or a spreadsheet) for the data container.
I am interested in the GUI and performance - but more important might be how easily it can be distributed (like a shareware or eval ware app) off the internet.
But regardless of all those - it would be exciting to see how easily a common "explorer" like "hello world" GUI could be developed in NET. I am aslo interested in the nuanced "cosmetic" advantages NET may have over VFP themes.
