Thanks Rod - and that was pretty quick.
I will check the code -
BTW - How did the "Hot Navigator" service turn out - is it comparable to RIO.
Between diapers and burping the kid I reproduced your cheesy RIO app in .NET.It is pretty cheesy:-) But that may be a reflection on me - I am also [pretty] cheesy!
I also fixed the flaws in the database design. I really hope this wasn't a resume app for you.No - I have real apps for that - but prospects seem buy based on their interview and conversations with my references. I use marketing case-study write-ups with pictures and arrows and narrative related to delivering the project.
Demos are "so yesterday".
Thanks Rod - I'll check it out - I bet it looks just like/Java/ASP/VB/JavaScrip/VFP object code!
The whole hot tracking deal is not a very good UI concept IMO.I got the urge to do that when I saw the consoles on STar Trek - The next generation - did it in DOS for a while - then wrote my own objects - I took about fours before I figured out that OCX had the features to do that - plus some code that Hennig posted on Wiki.
Are you saying you were not inspired by those GUI's Data used to browse through on TNG - I tried to do the whole thing - I did a fedex form and thought the Star Trek form was my next step.
I am fast liking the kinds of stuff that can be done with DHTML.
Have Fun,
>Rodman
Again thanks
