Just out of curiousity, why don't you use a product like Foxfire for this, so you don't have to worry.

>Sorry, I didn't tell the whole story. I've built an extensive query builder and object in my program, and I need to save the query as well as the report, and I also need to do a Save As... Maybe CTRL+S will look better for Save but I don't think I can pull off for a Save As...

>>>Thanks for the heads up...I kind of though so. In 8.0 I close the window, and use a keyboard command to say yes to the "do you want to save the report dialog". Do you have a more Elegant way of doing it? (ie. without closing and reopening the window? My problem with this method is that you lose the placement of any toolbars including the layout toolbar. That's why I've added a lot of posts regarding programmatically invoking the layout toolbar.

>>>Just an editorial comment, it seems that by not giving us the ability to invoke an event or call it directly, is only half the design solution. I wish they (Microsoft) had gone all the way. But in saying that, I realize that they had enough on their plate, but I hope they don't quit now, but keep adding more to what they have provided.
