That approach works as long as page 1 and 2 are not substantially different in layout. More often than not, the reason we use two different reports is because those two pages are mutually exclusive in the formatting...

One way to achieve the result of printing two distinctly different pages without the printer dialog box cropping up every time is to use the old-fashioned "?" or @...SAY to make the report. It would be a nightmare to make, but if the report is used extensively then it might be worth the effort.
