There is a utility on UT that will fix a memo file. However it must run under VPF 5 and it converts the table to a VFP 5 format which is unreadable in 2.5. I used this program and it worked fine to reapair the memo file. I then ZAPPED an old copy of 2.5 the table I was working with and used VFP 5 to copy the contents of the repaired table into the empty 2.5 table.
