Is it known by the public that the use while driving is illegal and is there a sufficient fine? I think putting on makeup in the car while driving should bring a fine - and then of course there is eating, drinking, smoking, listening to music, etc. However, nothing seems to be more distracting and dangerous than speaking on the phone while driving - I guess it has to do with multi-tasking :o)

>It incenses me that I STILL see just as many people doing it as ever. Worst was when I saw a guy turning an articulated truck in a narrow street, with many parked cars and pedestrians, using just one hand while gabbing on the phone. Next worst is when one of these turkeys is following directly behind ME. I think "I'm the one who's gonna get rammed up the Kyber (Pass) if I have to brake hard and he/she's not concentrating".
