Don't get me started on the correct way to brew tea (even if you're going to subsequently cool it). It really bugs the English, at a cafe or restaurant, to get a cup of hot water with a tea bag on a string, NOT YET IMMERSED, to do it themselves. The tea has to infuse immediately with boiling water (unlike coffee).
