I was REALLY looking forward to this. Can't wait to review it all. Got busy this week so I won't be able to go over it all indepth until this weekend. Looking forward to it. I really appreciates Daniel and Rod's generosity.

>Gary,
>I am not trying to be smug about this (well maybe a little, but in a constructive way if that is possible).
>I am looking forward to the discussion that is to come. I think it is great that Rod made the time to create these apps for VFP'ers to review and compare to VFP. Rod has put is code where his mouth is and taken up the challenge from the anti-.NET people in here. I don't think all of this will change anything for the extreemly anti-.NET people but for the people that want see what .NET is all about and maybe start playing around with a new language this will be great.

>Again, Rod has taken time to convert/create 2 demo apps to assist when comparing .NET to VFP. Out of respect for his work we should all download the apps and try to review the apps and try to compare performance to VFP.

>I am sure most people are coming back to work today after x-mas/new year vacation and there is a lot of catching up to do, but I hope this thread doesn't just die off now that Rod has put in time that he could otherwise have been spending with his family.

>>Hey Einar - no real need to be so smug about all of this. It doesn't help.

>>>Wow this thread (and the other one) got really quiet after you posted your RIO.Net conversion app and now this demo app :)
