When I moved to Rogue River, Oregon we moved into a house right on the Rogue River. It was absolutely beautiful and NO ONE mentioned any previous flooding. It wasn't until we noticed a faint line about 2 inches from the ceiling in one of the rooms and questioned the seller about it when they told us about the floods!

>>>Congratulations on your 40th wedding anniversary Thomas. Why are you reading this today? You should be consoling your wife :) Have a great day! <
>>
>>Seconded. Apparently Thomas and his wife still have not come up for air two days later ;-) (Or maybe they're paddling down the nearest street .... Northern California is a mess with torrential rains, mudslides, and floods).

>Rain can be so much fun! There are areas north of us that look like New Orleans. Why do people live next to rivers that overflow?

>Some roads and hiways will be closed for one month. About 15 years ago those same roads were closed for almost one year due to rain and mud slides. I guess that this storm is not all that bad! :)
