Why does it "always" come back to this? LOL. Do you have a lot of apps where you present/display 100K records to your users? If you pull a "resonable" amount of data from the database and present it to the user the user is not going to complain if it takes 1sec in .net or if it takes 0.09secs in VFP. Just my $0.02.
