I know that here in North Carolina we have to register all pets and pay taxes on cats and dogs! That is probably what makes people stubburn about it as much as anything else.

Several years ago, I paid off my house. I thought I finally owned it. Then came the property tax bills. The truth is, you can only really own what you can hide. The government owns everything else. We are just renting. Don't pay your rent and the "jack booted thugs" will show up to throw you out.

Of course, there's always that lingering notion that most people take nothing with them in THE BOX!
