Oh, I've broken laws too. I parked one night across the sidewalk. There was lots of room between my car and my friend's car in front of mine, but I still got a ticket. Ok, AFAIC that's fair. I broke the law (a not unreasonable law, IMHO) and I got a ticket. I could go and whine about it, but the fact is, I got caught. That's life. If I speed and get a ticket, so be it. If I litter (which I wouldn't) and get caught, fine (no pun intended). I have choices. I can choose to break the law or not. If I break it and get caught, I just figure mea culpa and deal with it.

My problem with the stories that were referred to is the whining that went on when they got caught.
