Look Howard. It's sad you were brought up blinkered in some bible bashing belt or whatever you guys call it. It's you who wants to challenge your beliefs. Just go out to Colorado and look at the sedimentary rocks in the valleys. Then explain that as God sprinkled it all down in pretty multi-coloured layers, patting it all down between, on day 2 was it?
Look at the chalk Downs near where I live, hundreds of feet thick (once the bottom of an ocean), and study some under a microscope, and see the tiny shells of trillions of dead sea creatures that comprise it. Then explain how God made THIS rock with creatures that he hadn't even created yet, for Godssakes!

Now then. Do I believe in God? That's a different matter. What I don't believe in is the tripe laid down in the OT, and I'm skeptical to say the least about the Gospels.
