Hi Cathy
Thanks for your help.
Unfortunatly problem is rather with VFP. Simple reports with many detail lines on page prints well, their footers prints well also - there is no disappearing fields. In my applications I have many such reports and they works without any problems.
The problems exist with reports that have many group bands on one page or ONE BIG (about page height size) BAND (detail or group) that have many floating and stretching fields.
I examined your sugestion and it do not work - page footer is printed as it is designed, the fatal field that floated in somewhere between two pages is not printed on bottom of first page (above footer) and is not printed on top of second page as it should. I tried with a few laser and ink jet printers, the bad behavior exists on all of them :(

>The problem may be with your printer .. and not with VFP. Printers usually have a nonprintable margin near the bottom of the page, which can vary for different printers. To ensure that you don't run into that unusable space, make sure the page footer is at least as tall as the unprintable margin. For example, make the page footer 1/2" tall ... and then VFP won't attempt to print anything in that space.

>>Hi,
>>I have big problem with printing report fields (labels and expressions) when they are moved (as a result of floating) close to the bottom of a page.
>>The problem appears when there are dynamicaly streched floating fields PLACED ABOVE the fatal field in the report design
>>On actual printout page the fatal field floats sometimes close to bottom edge of the page and is printed partialy (top half) or it is not printed all !!! It should be moved to second page but it is not (the second page is printed but it is blank!!!).
>>
>>It seems that VFP have problem with calculation of the field position or page/band height
>>The problem appears on quite different designed reports also in VFP9 SP1
>>The problem appears when report field is placed on detail band or group band.
>>
>>Maybe someone can help me with this problem ?
>>Thanks in advance
