It only allows me to specify Files not Folders under “Destination computer’s files”. When I want to do that it says that I need to install the full version. I have many folders containing information and samples, so if it doesn’t do that it is really useless for me.

I have been using VFP 6.0 setup wizard for many years and there were small issues that always have been fixable somehow.

Hi Ali,

Happy New Year to you too!

I haven't had the need to use the VFP9 InstallShield yet so I can only offer guesses.

The first one would be - do you have your application organized so it is in a single folder plus sub-folders of that single folder? Even a limited version of InstallShield should be able to do that as that is how most people develop their apps. I can see how a "limitation" could come into play if you're trying to install multiple "top-level" folders at once.

Another option would be to try InnoSetup (free product). I haven't used it but I've seen nothing but positive reviews here on UT. http://www.jrsoftware.org/isinfo.php
