This comic partially hits the nail on the head. But keep in mind there are many adults who seem to have the same beliefs as the kid. I was sharing the Letterman clip of him with OReilly with some coworkers. Most laughed and cheered that Letterman was ripping oreilly.

But another thought that Letterman did a bad job. He didn't think he gave oreilly a chance to explain himself.

Most people I talk to don't think there's any excuse oreilly could give.
