Some location ideas...
- a conference room at the employer of one of your attendees
- local library (other government buildings)
- when I lived in North Carolina, we met free of charge in the meeting room of a local hospital
- chamber of commerce
- Microsoft
- same location as your local .Net group

>Over the past month or so I've been trying to get a location for a Toronto FoxPro user's group. Numerous emails to York University went unanswered. I finally got a phone call back and they want a 5 million dollar comprehensive general liability insurance policy. I checked with my insurance company and they're going to get back to me on it. Why should I pay for that?

>The school board hasn't really got any good facilities. I'm down to using the North York library, which provides different kinds of rooms including a big auditorium. It's at Yonge and Sheppard. I'm waiting for confirmation from them for Wednesday February 1st from 6 - 8 p.m. So there's nothing definite. This is just a heads up.
