I have a problem with pictures on my buttons. The white collor area's in my picture becomes transparant when the pictures appear on a button. Its really crazy you know, At first I had a reference to a picture file in a directory. When I copied the picture to another directory and I changed the reference, the white area's in my picture became tranparant.
Hi Luco,
You have to mask the picture. Create the mask by editing the .bmp using Paint or some (more suitable) picture editor. Change all of the white parts of the .bmp to black. Save the .bmp as a .msk with the same root name.
For example if you have a picture arrow.bmp, load it in Paint and change all the white parts to black. Save the new picture as arrow.msk. (Paint will save it as arrow.bmp.msk -- just rename it)
In your image control, set the background to opaque. Now all your white parts will appear white. If there are some parts of the .bmp that you want to be transparent, color them white and do not blacken this part.
Luco, basic membership in the Universal Thread is free. Why don't you join?
We would love to have you.
