Hi Mark,
I hear what you're saying. In DLL's I've used in ASP environments I normally put 'CLOSE DATABASES ALL' in the Destroy event and make sure the calling ASP page destroys the DLL instance by nulling the object after use rather than just letting it go out of scope. Have several running in SSL financial sites for several years with no problems.
