my understanding of what "rant" ment was exactly what I described in my other postings. I understand that my understanding was not correct, and that in deed the meaning is practically the opposite of what I thought it was. English is far from my native language, and "rant" was not a word I learnt in school, but a word I have read a few times, and tried to get the meaning out of the context, without consulting any dictionary. So obviously some people has used the word rant in a sarcastic way, and I did not get the real meaning.Can you accept an apology? Since I described to Mohammed what I ment, I hope I did not offend him in any way, it was never the intention, I only wanted to be funny.

I also take the opportunity to say that English is not an easy language, since so many words can have different meanings, or not very logical meanings. Two good examples are infamous and inflammable. Since the first part of these words, in, often means not, like in independent and indirect, I long thought that infamous meant not famous, and that inflammable ment something which could not catch fire.
