I disputed it, but you cut that part out. No, I was not intending to insult you, but rather to qualify how I saw your conclusion.
I would have thought it would have tumbled by now...I fully expected it. But it hasn't happened, isn't even close to happening, and ain't gonna happen in my lifetime. Funny thing, but I think a lot less about things beyond my lifetime when they are so far away.
On the other hand, we (the west) will have committed economic suicide in my lifetime if the current model continues.
