I respectively disagree <s>...i think great coffee requires quality coffee AND a good way of processing.

I'm sold on my "stove top espresso" maker, and being a coffee junkie, even travel with it whenever i can.

To each their own, though...J

I make the coffee in the French Press Coffee Maker, and then filter the coffee into a cooking pan. I add about 1/2 cup of Half and Half and bring the coffee to a boil. I purchased a Bunn My Cafe B50 coffee maker. It works with about any coffee pods on the market, and can deliver a really hot cup of coffee in about 30 seconds. I process too pod into a kitchen pan, add about 1/2 cup of half and half and heat to a boil. I haven't tried any of the more expensive coffees pods, but using the ordinary Maxwell House, Folgers, or Senseo pods delivers a decent cup of coffee in minutes and without any mess. The Bunn My Cafe B50 uses a pump to extract the coffee under pressure, but I'm not sure it would be up to working with expresso, which is very dense and might require more pressure than the Bunn B50 produces.
