The Carolina Panthers posted the first shutout of a home team in the playoffs since 1980 with a 23-0 victory over the New York Giants Sunday at Giants Stadium. Carolina outrushed New York 223 yards to 41 and held the Giants to 132 total yards. The Panthers move on to the NFC Divisional Playoffs, where they will face the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field next Sunday
