I would be interested in seeing stats on this. I suspect the percentages may be different in different countries. Also, if guns were banned completely, how would that be done? How do you keep guns out of the hands of the criminals when we can't even keep drugs out of criminals hands? Pretty soon you will be able to smoke pot and drive without any fear of any legal repercussion. Since the urine tests and blood tests only show that you have inhaled or ingested marihuana sometime during the previous 3 days, there is no way to determine that you are currently under the influence or not. How will driving under the influence be enforced? You can't use a field sobriety test - those get thrown out in court because people who are too tired fail those...
