Well you went 4-and-oh, except CAR and NYG was definitely not a thriller. In fact, the only thriller was the first half or so of PIT/CIN even with Palmer out. I'm still picking WAS over SEA. I'll also take CAR over CHI. In the AFC, I'll take NE and IND. Can NE win another road game? History says teams with first round bye's are overwhelming favorites to win, but this year seems different. I would not be surprised to see all 4 road teams win or all 4 road teams lose this year.

Giants SUCKED on Sunday! What a horrible performance. I actually thought Washington would paste the Bucs and the Giant/Panther game would be an OT thriller. The Jax-NE game is being bottled by the FDA as a sleep-aid. I snored so loudly that our cats are being fitted for ear-plugs.

Actually, going back 4 seasons, 3 teams with first-round byes were smoked in the divisional playoff round.

2001 Bears, 13-3, lost at home to Philly
2003 Chiefs went 13-3, lost at home to Indy (KC did the same thing in '95 and '97!)
2003 Rams went 12-4, lost at home to Carolina

OK, my picks....

-Seattle over the Redskins (wouldn't it be funny if the Redskins gain more yards from scrimmage than Seattle, but lose the game?)
-New England over the Broncos (this is a tough one, but Brady will out-perform the Snake)
-Colts over the Steelers (it'll be close)
-Panthers over the Bears (if John Fox is as smart as the Giant players are giving him credit for, he will NOT have Delhomme throwing many passes)
