You already know that it IS technically possible. If you have Mobile WinForms and there is something like Mobile SQL Server, Mobile VFP is feasible. Aside from that, I'd say (although I'm not in the VFP team) that it would take a lot of resources. Basically, VFP windows management is already complicated. Adapting VFP windows for Pocket PC would be a long job. You already know that Mobile forms and its navigation mechanism are very different from regular Windows.

If you really want to move on and produce Pocket PC apps from a realistic standpoint, go to the VFP home in MSDN and take a look at some of the papers from Cathi Gero and others presenting mobile applications (in compact framework) working together with VFP back-ends. There are also many other dev platforms different from .NET that will allow you to use your applications in the devices and the rest of the app in VFP. Just don't expect to be able to write VFP code for the device-UI anytime soon (except by using XP-based devices).
