You asked me a direct question. I gave you a direct answer. If you are suggesting that personal beliefs should ONLY be founded on statistics - which we have demonstrated through this little back-and-forth can be twisted to suit any purpose - then we have a problem.

So what? I pay them to make sure that our legislatures do not erode my rights as a gun owner. Ah, but since they pay political parties that makes them evil, doesn't it?

Try again, Walter. The NRA was founded to promote gun sports, gun safety, and gun rights. They are my voice on Capitol Hill, since I can't be there in person. I don't agree with everything they do, but for my money they've done a pretty good job. The 2nd Amendment is law in this country, remember?
