No insult intended. We had a good discussion, but the conclusion is that neither from us changing his viewpoint. The fact of the matter is that the right to carry guns is so baked into your culture that it is useless trying to convince you. I'm questioning your culture for that matter. And of course, I understand that you would defend it and feel insulted in that sense, because you live in it and have accepted it as your way of living. Therefore starting this discussion is useless if it comes to convincing eachother. If you'd accept my standpoint, it would turnover a whole lot of your believes and culture, which you of course are not willing to do because some jerk from the other side of the atlantic is saying. I understand that. The stats were educating, the thread might have been educating, but we both new the outcome didn't we. Hence the remark.
