The MS tool looks like it's changed a little, it used to display every version for a given dll now you have to click the More Info link to see all the versions that have ever been out there.

The first directly contradicts what I have read about Windows XP looking for msvcr71.dll in the system folder ahead of the application folder. The second only covers VFP 8, and again says gdiplus.dll belongs in the application folder. The third just tells me what the most current version of VFP is.
