sorry, but form's BufferMode is set to '0-None(Default)'.
In the meantime I switched back to the old xbase-syntax with GO RECORD as I couldn't find the reason for the message. GO forces no error messages, and although I don't like that, it keeps the prog running 8-).
As the xbase-method forces lots of code and additional property-values to find the correct record, I will have a look for ActivateCell as soon as there is more time to find out.

Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place.
Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are,
by definition, not smart enough to debug it.
