Title:
UNABLE TO ALLOCATE GLOBAL MEMORY ERROR
I'm trying to switch printers on the fly within a FPW26 application using the methodology describe in KB article Q103645. The program basically reads the win.ini file, sets a new default printer, and rewrites the file. (It may also be writing to the registry, I'm not sure.) It works great about 75% of the time. However, I get an "Unable to allocate global memory" error about 25% of the time.
The machine is a Pentium 166 with 32MB RAM and this is the only program running on it.
Anyone have any ideas?
TIA,
Tom
