I read an article not too long ago from an attorney concerning copyrights in the United States. The attorney stated that anything an individual creates, be it music or even an e-mail, is copyrighted and belongs to the creator. No copyright has to be filed as this occurs automatically.

Think of all the cut and paste quotes we make on the UT, as well as the thread content being copied from one post to another automatically? Man, are we in trouble! :)
