This has been an ongoing issue for at least the last year or so. I read an article about a year ago discussing the intense stress recruiters are under these days to meet their quotas. The article focused on a recruiting station where there's been a suicide and another death that can be directly attributed to the stress.

I don't remember if it was the same article or a documentary I saw where the recruiters were discussing how they were coaching potential recruits who had issues that would normally immediately disqualify them. They were coaching them on how to hide asthma, drug use, etc.
