You can access MySQL over internet if you assign it a public IP address. Consider security implications before you do that.

>Just thought I'd mention that MySQL version 5 is out with stored procedures and functions. I've been messing around MySQL on Fedora Core 4 and accessing the database from Visual Foxpro ( ODBC 3.51, SPT ). So far everything I've tested works really good.
