>My theory is that before long all newspapers will be the same size: the size of your computer screen. Or your e-Reader device, or your Palm, or your iPod, or your smart phone, or whatever -- your portable gizmo with connectivity. I have been having this debate with my best friend, who is a well known Tribune writer, for about five years now. He thinks I'm a technology crackhead. I think he is in denial. I can't wait to tell him how wrong he was [g].

I look forward to the day when everyone can purchase a flimsy (maybe tabloid-sized), foldable kinda LCD sheet, with memory/intelligence, and download the day's "paper" to be read on it. Wee buttons on the sheet could "turn the page", zoom in or out, etc. The pictures could be moving like in the H. Potter movies.

Thus everone can still have the "look & feel" (well maybe not feel - but then again no ink-stained fingers) of a newspaper to take on the train or what have you. Just think of the saving in forests.

I think there was something similar in the film "Manority Report".
- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
