If you liked the movie, you would probably have liked this weekly series. A whole nation watched as Opie (his son in the show) grew up and went on to other shows and movies, then became a director of award winning movies. Barney Fife - the stereotype of the small town deputy who probably isn't qualified to be a security guard. Aunt Bea, the doting relative/cook/house mom, and many many many more. It was a great show. If you can find the cds on the net I'd recommend them.
