Tell them to send you actuall error message, preferably with screen capture attached.

>I have an overseas customer that started having the following problem (after moving app from Novel server to domain controller) with my VFP 6 application: The user has to have Administrative privileges to use the application. If a user (even Power user) (according to the email from their IT), tries to use the application, they get message something to the effect that "tables cannot be opened.". To me it seems a simple case of user not having Full Rights to the application data folder. But they see it differently.

So my question is, if I ask them to create a text file from the Windows Explorer in the data folder and then modify the test text file, and they are successful, would this indicate that the user has Full right to the folder? And therefore, should have a problem with my VFP application?
