I just did, too. I'm fascinated that the character is named Lionel Essrog. "Essrog" is the Yiddish pronounciation of "etrog," the Hebrew name for a citron (a lemon-like fruit). It's an essential element of celebrating the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles. I've never heard of anyone name Essrog (though I did go to high school with girl whose last name was Citron).
