How about more details? Do U have any strange code in any methods related to the table contained within your data environment? What are the AutoOpen and AutoClose properties set to in the Data environment? Did U try creating a new report form (if it is not too complex) and step through the process? Do any hidden functions exist within the report form itself? Not that it should matter, but are U using a private data session? Can U create a cursor via SQL as an alternative approach to try to id the problem? Do U have just one table or a complex setup with a parent table and one to many children tables. If so, are the relationships setup properly. Do U have a corrupt Report file or data file? Lastly, how about a virus. I hope I provided U with some questions that make get the ball rolling. It is very strange. I tried serval variations using a 4 field temp file and simple report form. I encountered no problems. HtwH. Steve
